TailchasersInc is seeking a dependable, adaptable, and driven Assistant Manager to join our team at our Resort location location in Arlington Heights!The ideal candidate will embody a "Can Do!" attitude, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks. This role involves 8-12 hour shifts, with start times as early as 6:15 AM with potential shifts until 6:30 PM.Position OverviewThe assistant manager would assist in managing 3 different aspects of the business.1) Arlington Pet Resort: Performing enrichment counselor, pet transport, and reception duties (not all at once).2) Pet Wants: Filling and delivering pet food orders as well as be our pet food ambassador at local farmers markets (weekends required).3) In-home Pet Care: Completing standard in-home pet care services within our service area, such as dog walking or cat care.This position requires a high level of flexibility, adeptness in multitasking, and exceptional customer service!TailchasersInc is a family-owned business offering a range of Pet Care services. Requirements:

Personal vehicle with a clean driving record

US citizenship or legal authorization to work in the US

Self-starter with strong self-motivation and ability to work independently

Previous leadership experience preferred

Proficiency in computer, tablet, and GPS operations

Ability to work extended periods sitting or standing

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Successful completion of a background check

Comfortable with various pets, including cats, dogs, fish, and some birds

Excellent communication skills with customers

Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Availability for weekday and weekend shifts (at least 1 weekend day per week, ongoing)

Compensation:

Negotiable based on experience
